Messier 78 Region

The reflection nebula Messier 78 or NGC2068 is seen here (centre frame) with NGC2067, NGC2064 and NGC1971. It was discovered in 1780 by Pierre Mechain and is 1600 light years from Earth, being part of the molecular cloud complex in Orion.
