Guiding Cam Setup

I needed a lightweight guiding solution to guide either the C6SCT or a camera/lens on my homemade dual mount. The small but very sensitive Starlight Express Lodestar coupled via a Mogg adapter to a 300mm f5.6 mirror lens has proved a versatile solution. You can view details of it on my blog.

The Manfrotto quick mount plate (on it's base) has made this a very quick & easy solution to change from scope to dual mount & back.

I have made a dew shield for it from black photo mount board & tank tape, this really helps in our damp welsh climate.
